HOW CFF WORKS
1. When you return your application form and your membership is accepted you will receive listings of all other CFF members of the opposite sex with some details.
Examples only:

Contact anyone you would like to offer friendship. Members can be contacted by whatever method they choose - email, post, phone or through a confidential reference number. One or two brief notes is often enough before meeting or phoning.

2. You will be included on our membership list which all new members receive as soon as they join, as well as on our next three-monthly update.

3. We send you our newsletter (News & Views) every quarter as well as additional lists of new members, along with the local group programme.

HISTORY
CFF started in the UK where many social activities and holiday tours offer Christian friendship for single Christians. A couple who met through CFF(UK) started CFF in New Zealand in 1983. We joined CFF after finding it difficult to meet other Christian singles in our churches.

RESTRICTIONS
It is recommended that separated people wait at least 12 months after their separation before joining CFF. It is important that those who are divorced, widowed or separated have worked through any issues involved. Membership of CFF(NZ) is restricted to Christian Singles within New Zealand. (See Links for details of CFF in the United Kingdom and Australia).

OLDER MEMBERS
Although we have a number of women members in the 50+ age group we have fewer men in this age group. New members, both men and women are joining CFF all the time. If you are looking for companionship it is often worthwhile to receive a list of the members of the same gender as yourself as good friendships can develop.
